People are talking but I can't hear them

1. Make sure your computer has speakers either built in or plugged into the computer

2. Make sure your volume or speakers are NOT muted

3. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, click the more options (3 dots), show device settings. Verify that the audio devices and speaker are set to the correct audio devices

People cannot hear me when I am talking

1. Make sure your computer has a microphone either built in or plugged into the computer

2. Make sure your microphone is NOT muted

3. On Mac it should ask for permission to use your microphone. You can also go to System Preferences>Security and Privacy>Privacy Tab>Microphone. Check the box for Microsoft Teams to allow the app to access your microphone

4. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, make sure the mute button (microphone icon) does not have a line through it. If a line showing on the mute button, that indicates that you are muted

5. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, click on the more options (3 dots), show device settings. Verify that the audio devices and microphone are set to the correct  audio and microphone devices

People are presenting on their webcam but I can't see them

1. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, click on the more options (3 dots), click "turn on incoming video"

I am trying to use my webcam and people can't see me

1. Make sure your computer has a webcam either built in or plugged into the computer

2. Make sure your webcam is visible and not covered

3. On Mac it should ask for permission to use your camera. You can also go to System Preferences>Security and Privacy>Privacy Tab>Camera. Check the box for Microsoft Teams to allow the app to access your camera

4. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, make sure the camera icon does not have a line through it. If a line is showing on the camera icon that indicates you have the camera off

5. If you are in a call or meeting in Teams, click on the more options (3 dots), show device settings. Verify the Camera is set to the correct camera device
