Note: To register for a test or cancel a test you have scheduled, you must be logged in to STInet.

How to Sign Up for Testing

  1. Click the Add/Drop Courses link below.
    Hint: If you want to keep these instructions available, you can right-click the link and choose to open it in a new tab/window to go back and forth between the instructions and the sign up screens.
  2. If there is a specific test you've been asked to sign up for, enter a portion of the test name in the Title field to search only for that test. If you want to see a listing of all available tests, you can leave the search fields blank.
  3. Click the Search button to view a list of available tests.
  4. Find the test you need at the date/time that works best for you. 
  5. Click the checkbox in front of the test you want to sign up for.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Add Courses button.
    1. If you have only selected a test with no cost, your test will show in the Your Schedule (Registered) section of the screen and you have completed the sign up. If you have selected a test that requires payment, continue to the next step.
    2. If you are required to make a payment for any of the courses you have selected, they will show in the Course(s) Requiring Payment section of the screen in a Reserved state. 
  7. To pay for any test(s) that require a payment, click the Pay and Complete Registration button.
  8. Verify the test(s) you are signing up for and click the Pay Now button. 
  9. Complete the payment for your test(s).
  10. Once you receive a payment receipt, click Sign Out in the upper right corner of the screen to return to the testing page and view the tests you have signed up for in the Your Schedule (Registered) section of the screen.

 

How to Cancel a Test/Generate a Refund

  1. Click the Add/Drop Courses link below.
  2. Locate the test you wish to cancel in the Your Schedule (Registered) section of the screen.
  3. Click the checkbox in front of the test you wish to cancel.
  4. Click the Drop Selected Courses button.
  5. Once it is no longer showing in your schedule, click on the My Account Info link below any remaining tests you have scheduled.
  6. Click the My Account Balances link on the following page to generate a refund for any paid test that you have selected. If you do not click on these links, you will not receive a refund for any paid tests that have been cancelled.
  7. Please allow up to 5 days for refund processing.
